So.... Who am I?
Personally, and most importantly, I am a husband and father to three very active children. I love everything sports and outdoors, and I am a genuine foodie at heart – especially with a nice glass of Pinot Noir in hand! When not treating patients or working with my phenomenal team, you will find me making the most out of life – playing guitar, learning Japanese, hiking, cycling, playing a round of golf, or spending time at the beach with the family.
Professionally, I think of myself as an evidence-informed Chiropractor with a passion for Sports and Musculoskeletal injuries. As an owner of a highly successful multi-disciplinary practice for the past 15 years (with 21 team members and counting), I am obsessed with constantly learning and have worked with a substantial number of coaches and experts within the fields of Chiropractic, Allied Health, and Business/Finance/Personal Development. This has led me to discover that it is hard to find a coach and mentor that fits the mold of not only understanding how to run a profitable Chiropractic/Healthcare business, but to also do it in an honest and ethical way without the need for cheesy sales tactics, manipulative scripts, x-raying every patient, and long term ‘care’ plans. This has led me to have the fortune of treating many elite level athletes including World Champions and Olympic Medallists in the sports of Basketball, Ironman Triathlon, Swimming, Rugby Union/League, Horse Racing, and Golf (where I have held a position on the instructional staff for the Titleist Performance Institute in Australia for the last 8 years).
My Chiropractic and business journey has taken me from a new graduate who knew nothing about business or patient care, through to starting my own practice in a foreign state in the middle of the GFC (Global Financial Crisis), to a stressed out business owner who was struggling to keep his head above water, and all the way through to the point now, where I have a legendary team of 20+ around me that allows me to only treat the patients I love to work with in a relatively stress free environment and have true work-life balance that allows me to spend ample time with my growing family.
My hope is that all the learnings and mistakes I have made over the last 15+ years allows me to efficiently work with practitioners and business owners to get them fast and sustainable results whilst always being an ear to listen to or a shoulder to cry on (it happens to all of us in practice sometimes).
If I sound like your ‘cup of tea,’ then I would love to chat further and see if we might be a good fit to work together.
Yours in Health & Success,
